PALO VERDE

PALO VERDE RIVER CRUISE

A drive through the rural areas to reach Bolson town will show you the way of living in Guanacaste province. The crops, haciendas and local towns are just what the real life is in Costa Rica.

Once at the Cipanci Reserve, a river cruise will start on the Tempisque River, which is one of the Palo Verde National Park afluents where the wildlife lives. The american crocodile for example is one of them. Then the bats, iguanas, lizards, birds and monkeys are also part of what normally will be observed on this tour. The river is affected by the ocean tide, so some rides are low tide and others are high tide. In both water levels wildlife is the high light of this attraction. The vegetation is very lush so, an eagle eye captain and guide are needed in order to find the creatures that are well blended in.

After this experience lunch is next. A traditional wood stove meal is served. Corn tortillas, rice and beans, salad and the option of your choice chicken or beef. A vegetarian option is offered also.
