LA LEONA WATERFALL
One of the hidden treasures the slope of the Rincón de la Vieja volcano has is La Leona waterfall. This adventure consists on a hike through the mountain trails crossing river creeks and lush vegetation, also very interesting geological volcanic formations to reach the waterfall area. The trail has a medium hike difficulty so some physical is required in order to accomplish the 2.5 kilometers of distance.
On this activity swimming is required to cross some parts of the river. The local guides will be helping with this part.
